Southside Scribblers is a registered community service organization with the University of Chicago’s University Community Service Center.

We run after school creative writing program at various Hyde Park elementary schools in Chicago. We are a student-led, student-run organization comprised of volunteers from the University of Chicago.

Our program mission is to get kids excited about being creative, excited about writing, and excited about creative writing by supervising writing activities to children ranging from 2nd grade to 6th grade.
